I have a BA in Psychology, and a M.Ed. in Counseling and Human Development, both from George Mason University. My wife Susan and I are long time residents of West Springfield, Virginia.

Before beginning my second career as a Mental Health professional, I was employed at the Washington Post Co. for over 25 years in the Production department. During this time I was actively involved in a variety of Health & Safety issues working closely with management to create and implement improved training procedures for new and current employees.

Currently, I work for the Fairfax County Juvenile Detention Center where I have the opportunity to counsel “at-risk” youths from our community. I am involved with the BETA program, which is a sentencing program for up to six months in the JDC, with an intensive therapeutic curriculum.
